Fine Flint Enamel Figure of a Dog with Basket, attributed to Lyman, Fenton & Co., Bennington, VT, circa 1849-1852, molded figure of a standing dog with applied clay "coleslaw" and curled tail, carrying a basket of fruit in its mouth. Mottled brown glaze with yellow and blue-gray highlights to basket. One foot broken off and reglued. Otherwise excellent condition. L 9 1/2" ; H 8 3/8".
