Salt-Glazed Stoneware Vase, Middle TN origin, late 19th or early 20th century, ovoid form with flared and crimped rim, the surface dipped in reddish-brown slip and covered in a sporadic salt glaze. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. Small rim chips. Some thin, in-the-firing surface fissures to underside, not visible on interior. H 6 1/2".
