Small-Sized Salt-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, Inscribed "H A W," Southwestern VA or Eastern TN origin, second half 19th century, ovoid pitcher with flaring collar and tooled rim, incised with the initials of the maker or owner, "H A W," at the midsection. A tight spider crack in underside, extending onto base area of pitcher in a few places. Some surface wear. H 6 5/8".
