Three-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, attributed to the Grindstaff Pottery, Blount County, TN, circa 1870-1900, ovoid jug with tooled spout, and glass run to upper handle terminal, the surface covered in a clear salt glaze. Impressed with raised-face three-gallon capacity mark to shoulder. Exhibited: Tennessee Turned, Earthenware and Stoneware Made in East Tennessee 1800-1900, Museum of East Tennessee History, May 16-October 30, 2011.
