Glazed Redware Bowl, Eastern TN origin, 19th century, flaring bowl with semi-squared rim, the interior covered in a mottled lead glaze, possibly colored with iron. Exhibited: Made in East Tennessee: Pottery, Museum of East Tennessee History, 1996. Wear to rim. Interior with some in-the-firing glaze spalling and minor wear. Diam. 9 5/8" ; H 3 1/2".
