Glazed Redware Jar, Greene County, TN, circa 1820-1880, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and pronounced, semi-rounded rim, the surface covered in a lead-and-manganese glaze with heavy lead runs descending from the rim. p. 49, fig. 38, p. 194, fig. 38. Exhibited: Tennessee Turned, Earthenware and Stoneware Made in East Tennessee 1800-1900, Museum of East Tennessee History, May 16-October 30, 2011.
