Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, Southern U.S. origin, late 19th century, ovoid pitcher with flared collar, the collar and shoulder decorated with incised wavy lines, the surface covered in a mottled, olive-colored alkaline glaze with grayish runs. Chipping around rim and spout. Base with some wear and a few small chips. Tiny in-the-firing pings to underside. H 11".
