Provenance: Ex-Salley Cathey, former owner of Blue Ridge Weavers, Tryon, North Carolina, who purchased it from Mrs. Hilton in the 1950s; Brunk Auctions, Asheville, NC, Jan. 8, 2005, lot 132.
