Unusual Glazed Stoneware Harvest Jug, Stamped "BROWN POTTERY," Arden, NC, circa 1930, ovoid-form with applied wide and narrow tubular spouts on opposing sides and arched horizontal handle across the top. Surface covered in an olive-brown glaze with heavy overlying cream-yellow glaze, an unusual treatment for this maker. Underside impressed with small-font "BROWN POTTERY" stamp and incised "45." Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H 11 1/4".
