Stoneware Swirl Pitcher, attributed to the Propst Pottery, Vale, NC, circa 1930, ovoid pitcher with flared collar, featuring swirled cream and brown clay under a clear glaze. Literature: Illustrated in Bridges, Potters of the Catawba Valley North Carolina. Provenance: Ex-Daisy Wade Bridges Collection (includes "BRIDGES" sticker on underside); Ex-Collection Milton J.
