Stoneware Swirl Bean Pot with Lid, Stamped "REINHARDT BROS. / VALE, N.C.," circa 1930, squat-shaped jar with squared rim, incised wavy line to shoulder, and applied handles, the surface covered in a clear glaze over swirled brown and cream clay. Includes original glazed stoneware lid. Impressed with Reinhardt Brothers maker's mark below one handle. Provenance: Southern Folk Pottery Collectors Society, May 2007, lot 79. Excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (including lid) 8".
