Rockingham-Glazed Stoneware Cow Figural, Stamped "MONMOUTH POTTERY CO.," Monmouth, IL origin, circa 1893-1906, molded figures of a cow nursing a calf on oval base, the whole covered in a reddish-brown Rockingham glaze. Impressed with Monmouth Pottery Company maker's mark on base. Provenance: Ex-Collection Mrs. J. Amory Haskell. Excellent condition with a glazed-over, in-the-firing loss to one of cow's horns. L 6" ; H 4 1/2".
