Six-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "HAVENS," Zanesville, OH origin, third quarter 19th century, cylindrical crock with semi-squared rim and applied lug handles, brush-decorated with X-shaped floral motifs flanking an underscored "6." Three-petaled floral motif below. Stripe decoration to maker's mark and diagonally flanking the "6." Related decoration on reverse. Cobalt highlights to tops of handles. Chips to interior of rim. A small area of exfoliation to reverse. Some staining. H 13 3/8".
