Stoneware Stump-Form Planter, attributed to F. B. Norton & Co., Worcester, MA, circa 1858-1877, molded planter in the form of a tree stump with large central opening surrounded by five smaller openings. Surface coated in Albany slip and covered in a clear salt glaze. Shallow chips and flakes to openings. A small hole to one side, formed during use. H 14".
