Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Northeastern U.S. origin, first quarter 19th century, ovoid jar with tooled shoulder and applied lug handles, decorated with slip-trailed flowering plant motifs on the front and reverse. A few in-the-firing contact marks and an iron ping to surface. Two miniscule nicks to interior of rim. H 8 1/2".
