Manganese-Decorated Redware Pitcher, PA origin, 19th century, wide-bodied, ovoid pitcher with footed base and flared collar with tooled accents, the lead-glazed surface brush-decorated with splotches of manganese against an orange ground. Several minor rim chips. Small chips and nicks to handle. Small base chips. Small flakes and wear to exterior surface. Heavier flaking to interior and underside. H 8 1/2".
