One-Gallon Stoneware Jar with Cobalt Floral Decoration, attributed to William Linton, Baltimore, MD, mid 19th century, cylindrical jar with tooled shoulder and squared rim, brush-decorated with two large, fan-shaped floral motifs descending from the shoulder. Very nice condition. Some water glass residue to interior. Two small rim chips. Base chips, some of which are glazed over. Some small in-the-firing pings to surface. H 10 1/2".
