Scarce One-and-a-Half-Gallon Salt-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "J. MILLER, / WHEELING Va," circa 1830, ovoid jug with tooled spout, the shoulder impressed with J. Miller maker's mark above a large one-and-a-half-gallon capacity mark. Excellent condition with two small base chips and a few minor in-the-firing flaws to surface. H 14 1/2".
