Glazed Redware Mug, attributed to Emanuel Suter, New Erection Pottery, near Harrisonburg, Rockingham County, VA, circa 1875, narrow-bodied, cylindrical mug, the exterior and interior coated in a speckled light-brown lead-and-manganese glaze. Glaze wear to handle. Light wear to rim. Minor chips and wear to base area. A few tiny in-the-firing pings to surface. H 6 1/4".
