One-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Bowl, Stamped "GEO. W. MILLER / STRASBURG, VA," circa 1880, flare-rimmed bowl with squared rim and arched tab handles, brush-decorated with stylized flower blossoms around the shoulder. Two chips to interior of rim. Small in-the-firing chips to exterior of rim, some of which are glazed over. Shallow chipping to bottom edge of rim above one handle. A salt drip to exterior shoulder. Salt drips to interior. A 2 1/2" firing crack from rim on interior, not visible on exterior. H 5 5/8" ; Diam. 10 1/4".
