Albany-Slip-Glazed Stoneware Jar, Stamped "S SMYTH & BRO. / HOLLY SPRINGS, MISS.," circa 1870-1887, cylindrical jar with rounded shoulder and semi-squared rim, coated on the exterior and interior with an Albany slip glaze. Chips and wear to rim. Wear to inner rim for lid. Small chips and wear to base. A small in-the-firing ping at base. Minor surface wear. H 9".
