Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher with Iron Slip Decoration, Cleburne County, AL origin, second half 19th century, semi-ovoid pitcher with flared collar and coggled accents to shoulder, the surface coated in a grayish alkaline glaze and decorated with dipped iron slip decoration to the collar and handle. Provenance: Purchased by Wahler from Roger White at an antiques show in Rock Mills, Alabama. Excellent condition with minor surface wear to front of spout. H 11".
