Scarce Two-Gallon Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Jar, attributed to the Craven Family, Randolph or Moore Counties, NC, second half 19th century, cylindrical form with angled rim molding and tooled accents to shoulder, decorated with brushed spot and stripe decoration to the rim and shoulder. Large coggled "2" to shoulder. Two restored areas to outer edge of rim, measuring 3 1/4" and 2". Otherwise excellent condition. H 9 3/4".
