Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Pitcher, Southern U.S. origin, fourth quarter 19th century, ovoid pitcher with tooled midsection, flared collar with semi-squared rim, and applied handle with rounded thumb rest, the surface covered in a mottled olive-colored alkaline glaze with darker coloration to the collar. Very nice condition with a small chip to thumbrest, the rim with a few minor nicks and minor wear. H 9".
