Two-Gallon Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jug, Stamped "D S," Daniel Seagle, Vale, NC, circa 1840, ovoid jug with heavily-tooled spout, the surface covered in an olive-green alkaline glaze. One spout chip. Very minor chipping to base, probably in-the-making. H 14 1/4".
