Rare Stoneware Coffee Boiler with Two-Tone Glaze, attributed to the Stork/Landrum Pottery, Columbia, SC, circa 1880, ovoid form with flared rim, applied handle, and applied pinched spout leading to a perforated interior, the surface coated in a dipped alkaline glaze to the upper half and Albany slip to the lower half. Includes alkaline-glazed lid, possibly original to the vessel. Provenance: Purchased by Wahler at The Ferrell Collection, Wooten & Wooten Auction & Appraisal, Camden, SC, January 25, 2014, lot 86a. Boiler in excellent condition with two small rim chips. Lid in excellent condition. H (excluding lid) 5 3/4".
