×Alkaline-Glazed Stoneware Jar, attributed to Pottersville Pottery, Edgefield District, SC, circa 1830, ovoid jar with tooling to shoulder and rim, decorated with a light alkaline glaze to the body along with flowing gray-green runs to the upper body. Chips around base. Rim with a shallow 1 1/4" flake, a minor chip, and small glazed-over chip. A 4 1/2" vertical line to midsection. H 10 1/4".
