Small-Sized Moravian Redware Fish Flask, Salem, NC origin, circa 1801-1829, molded bottle in the form of a fish with raised, circular eyes and heavily-detailed scales and fins, the animal's mouth forming the vessel's spout. Provenance: Crocker Farm, Inc., Summer 2023 Auction, lot 64; Al Marzorini Collection. Presumably excavated, this flask is missing essentially all of its glaze, has large chips to the tail, and minor spout chips, which have smoothed with age. L 4 1/2".
