Five-Gallon Stoneware Churn with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "WORCESTER," MA origin, third quarter 19th century, ovoid churn with tooled shoulder, applied lug handles, and flared rim, decorated with an abstract slip-trailed design accented with spots. A 3 1/2" Y-shaped line to midsection on reverse. A tight, approximately 7" x 3 1/4" spider line to right side of churn. A small chip and minor nick to interior of rim. A 2" hairline from rim. Small in-the-firing iron pings to surface. H 18 3/8".
