Five Pieces of Utilitarian Pottery, American, 19th century, a miniature redware chicken waterer; a manganese-glazed hat whimsey; a yellow-glazed ovoid jar; a flowerpot with manganese decoration on exterior and manganese slash decoration on interior; and a miniature, ovoid salt-glazed stoneware jar, probably J. Swank & Co., Johnstown, PA or Middle TN origin. Chicken waterer with shallow chipping to base, a small finial chip, and some water glass staining to surface. Hat with chips and wear to brim and minor wear to base. Yellow-glazed jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. Flowerpot with some saucer and rim chips. Miniature stoneware jar in excellent, essentially as-made condition. H (of tallest) 4 7/8".
