Two Glazed Redware Cream Pitchers, attributed to J. Eberly & Co. or S. Bell & Sons, Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, each of ovoid form with footed base and short, flaring collar, featuring cream-colored slip and manganese under a clear lead glaze. Shorter with a reversed L-shaped crack from rim, a crack from spout, significant wear to spout and rim, large base chips, wear to handle, glaze loss to interior base, and minor surface wear. Taller with a rim chip, spout chip, and wear to rim, a shallow chip to underside at edge, a few small base chips, and a few very minor flecks of glaze loss to body. H (of taller) 6 5/8".
