Three Multi-Glazed Redware Cream Pitchers, attributed to S. Bell & Sons and/or J. Eberly & Co., Strasburg, VA, circa 1890, all of ovoid form with footed base and short, flaring collar, two dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashed copper and manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. The largest dipped in cream-colored slip, decorated with splashed manganese, and covered in a clear lead glaze. Largest with significant glaze flakes to exterior, glaze scratches to exterior, and glaze loss to interior. Second largest with two large base chips, wear to rim and handle, minor surface wear, and staining to surface. Smallest with a small rim chip, wear to rim, a glazed-over base chip and two minor base chips, short cracks to base area, some staining, and a hairline, light wear, and staining to handle.
