Four Glazed Redware Banks, Strasburg, VA origin, circa 1890, all of ovoid, footed form, three with cream, copper, and manganese decoration, one with cream and manganese decoration. Lead-glazed surfaces. Tallest with glazed-over loss to finial, a small glazed-over chip to slot, and a long horizontal crack extending from slot. One smaller bank with loss to finial, large and small chips to slot, a small glaze flake to shoulder, and a minor glaze flake to base. Another smaller bank with wear to slot and finial, minor base chips, and in-the-firing glaze anomalies. Cream-and-manganese bank with restoration to finial and slot area as well as a restored base chip. H (of tallest) 4 1/2".
