Two Redware Urns, American, circa 1875, an ovoid urn with lion's head handles, decorated with brushed lead-and-copper glaze over a slip-coated surface, attributed to Solomon Bell, Strasburg, VA; paired with an ovoid urn with footed base, flaring rim, and traces of old black cold paint to surface. Lion's head urn with professionally-restored handles, unrestored base chips, and some flakes to surface, some of which are painted. Other urn with a few rim chips and losses to base. H (of lion's head urn) 14".
