Two Copper-Decorated Redware Flowerpots, attributed to the Bell Pottery, Strasburg, VA, circa 1875-1890, both with attached saucer and white slip coating, decorated around the body with lead-and-copper-glazed swags. Unmarked. Saucer of taller example with a large chip and smaller chips, in otherwise excellent condition. Smaller example with a rim chip, wear to rim of pot and saucer, and flakes to body, the surface coated in a light varnish. H (of taller) 8 1/2".
