Scarce Diminutive Glazed Redware Vase, Stamped "BAECHER / WINCHESTER, VA.," circa 1880, ovoid-bodied vase with footed base and flaring rim, the surface covered in a dark-brown lead-and-manganese glaze. Underside impressed with Anthony Bacher maker's mark. Exceptional size, the smallest Bacher vase that we have offered. A 1" base chip. A few rim chips. Some light surface wear. H 6".
