×Two Pieces of Glazed Redware, New England origin, second quarter 19th century, an ovoid jug with purplish-brown lead-based glaze accents with green streaks, paired with an ovoid jar decorated with sponged manganese under a clear lead glaze. Jug with a 1" base chip and a 1" chip to underside along edge, small flakes and wear to surface, wear to spout, and traces of wax to surface. Jar with a 1 3/8" filled hole in underside, small base chips, and some rim wear. H (of jug) 9 1/2".
