Glazed Redware Pitcher with Incised Eagle and Bird Motifs, attributed to Jacob Medinger, Limerick Township, Montgomery County, PA, early 20th century, ovoid pitcher with footed base and flared collar with coggled treatment, decorated with an incised design of a spread-winged eagle clutching arrows below a branch with two birds. Surface decorated with streaks of manganese and covered in a clear lead glaze. Some restoration to handle. Two restored rim chips and other unrestored rim chips and nicks. A few small flakes to bottom edge. Some minor surface wear. H 6 3/4".
