Four Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Canning Jars, A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, all of cylindrical form with semi-rounded "wax sealer" rims, featuring A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling. Two with old tin canning lids. One with significant filled section to rim and other paint to rim. One with heavy chipping to interior of rim, a hole in underside, and tight cracks in underside, one extending several inches up front and another extending onto base. One with thin crack from rim on front and a Y-shaped crack from rim on reverse. One with a thin crack in underside, extending a short distance onto base, two chips to interior of rim, and minor nicks to interior of rim and inner rim for lid. H (of tallest) 8 3/8".
