Four Cobalt-Stenciled Stoneware Canning Jars, A.P. Donaghho, Parkersburg, WV, circa 1880, all of cylindrical form with rounded shoulders, and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rims, featuring A.P. Donaghho maker's stenciling. All include old tin canning lids. One with a large rim chip and crack from rim. One with shallow chipping to interior of rim. One with a leaning rim, a small chip to interior of rim, in-the-firing roughness to rim, a small bloated spot to shoulder, two small bloated spots to underside, and minor old paint residue to reverse. One with a 3/4" hole in underside and a thin crack in underside continuing partway up base of jar, a small chip to underside, minor chipping to interior of rim, and some light staining. H (of tallest) 8 3/8".
