Stoneware Canning Jar with Cobalt-Stenciled Peach Decoration, Greensboro, PA origin, circa 1875, tapering jar with tooled shoulder and semi-rounded "wax sealer" rim, decorated with a large stenciled design of a peach hanging from a stem between two leaves. Desirable Western Pennsylvania motif. Very nice condition with a few nicks to molding at shoulder and minor staining, the inner wax sealer rim with a small, shallow chip and minuscule nick. H 8 5/8".
