Three Stoneware Jugs, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, a pint-sized salt-glazed jug, stamped "D. GOODALE," Hartford, CT origin, circa 1825-1830; a small-sized salt-glazed jug with cobalt highlight to base of handle, stamped "CHELSEA," MA origin, second quarter 19th century; and a two-gallon Albany-slip-glazed syrup jug with old wooden stopper, stamped "E & L P NORTON / BENNINGTON VT:," circa 1870. Goodale jug in excellent condition with a few minor, in-the-firing base chips and a small glazed-over flake to proper right side of jug. Chelsea jug with a small spout chip, two minor spout chips, two small adjacent chips to bottom edge on reverse, and some salt residue to surface. Norton jug with spout chips and flecks of old gray paint to surface. H (of smallest) 7".
