Two Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware Inkwells, Northeastern U.S. origin, first quarter 19th century, both of cylindrical form with tooled accents, central ink hole, and two quill holes, decorated with cobalt covering their tops. One with chipping around base, a shallow chip to shoulder, and a shallow flake to central ink hole. Other with two chips to underside at edge, crazing to underside, and a chip and nick to top edge. Dimensions (of each): Diam. approx. 3 3/4 ; H 1 3/8".
