Three Pieces of Cobalt-Decorated Stoneware, Binghamton, NY origin, second half 19th century, a one-gallon cylindrical jug with slip-trailed floral decoration, stamped "W. ROBERTS BINGHAMTON NY, circa 1870; a four-quart batter pail with cobalt highlights and tin lid and spout cover, stamped "W. ROBERTS BINGHAMTON NY," circa 1870; and a one-gallon jar with cobalt floral decoration, stamped "WHITE & WOOD / BINGHAMTON, N.Y.," circa 1880. Jug with small spout chips, some fry to cobalt, and traces of old red paint to surface. Batter pail with spout chips, in otherwise excellent condition. Jar with a minor chip to proper right handle, two small chips to interior of rim, and a short in-the-firing line to interior of rim. H (of jar) 7 1/4".
