Three-Gallon Stoneware Crock with Cobalt Floral Decoration, Stamped "M WOODRUFF / CORTLAND," NY State origin, circa 1867-1869, cylindrical crock with tooled shoulder, squared rim, and applied lug handles, decorated with a brushed and slip-trailed flowering plant design. Cobalt highlights to maker's mark and capacity mark. Significant restoration throughout. Traces of old red paint to surface. H 10 1/4".
