Two Pieces of Utilitarian Pottery, American, second quarter 19th century, a one-gallon ovoid jug with brushed floral motif, probably Abial Price, Middletown Point, NJ origin; paired with a small, lead-glazed redware jar with splashed manganese decoration, CT or PA origin. Jug with shallow spout chips and a base chip. Jar with a 4" inverted Y-shaped crack from rim. H (of jar) 5 3/4".
