Two Rare Stoneware Lids, Northeastern U.S. origin, 19th century, an Albany-slip-glazed example with relief Federal eagle motifs and twig-form handle, stamped on handle "S.S. PERRY / TROY," NY State origin, circa 1828-1833; paired with a salt-glazed lid with relief designs of hunting dogs and a hunter with bugle on horseback. Perry lid with a 3" loss to edge primarily along underside and some light surface wear. Other lid with edge chips. Diam. (of Perry lid) 10".
