Three Stoneware Vessels with Cobalt Script Inscriptions, New York State, third quarter 19th century, a two-gallon jug with the slip-trailed cobalt script advertising, "Fred Ferris," stamped "E.W. FARRINGTON, / ELMIRA, N.Y.," circa 1890; a two-gallon crock featuring the slip-trailed cobalt inscription, "Lyons," in fancy script with slip-trailed "2." above stamped "J. FISHER / LYONS, N.Y.," circa 1875; a one-gallon jug with the slip-trailed cobalt script advertising, "J. J. O'Connor," probably New York State origin, circa 1875. Fisher crock with two rim chips, the largest measuring 1 3/4". Jugs with minor imperfections including fry to cobalt and small chips. H (of tallest) 13 1/8".
