Stoneware Jug with Dover, Delaware Advertising, attributed to Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th or early 20th century, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "Levy & Glosking. / Distillers of / Pure Rye Whiskey. / Dover, Del.," over a Bristol slip ground. Mottling to surface. Spout chips, some of which are glazed over. Three base chips. Some residue from use at base on reverse. Two short, in-the-making surface lines to front, which are glazed over. Minor handle wear. H 14 1/2".
