×Scarce Three-Gallon Stoneware Jug-Form Cooler with East Orange, NJ Advertising, attributed to Fulper Pottery, Flemington, NJ, late 19th or early 20th century, cylindrical jug with tooled spout, two open handles at the shoulder, and semi-circular bunghole at base, featuring the slip-trailed cobalt advertising, "J.W. Ransley & Son. / East Orange. / N.J.," over a Bristol slip ground. Very nice condition. Bunghole with a piece of adhered clay residue, a small edge chip, and a short in-the-firing crack. Some residue from use to surface. H 16".
